My husband passed September of 2023. I needed to remove him from my auto policy according to MVA in order to get my vehicle registration for our 3 vehicles. After this was done, I was issued 3 checks from State Farm. The checks were made out to Hannah AND Rodney Goodman. But because the checks had AND, I needed my husband's signature according to the bank. I spoke with Lauren about this, and she said it will take a long, long time to re-issue the checks. I would call regularly since I didn't hear from them. I spoke with Ashley from the office, and she said to send back the checks so they could have it re-issued. I spoke with Ashley on several occasions after that, and she tried to assist me several times, but the end result was the same. First, corporate re-issued the checks and it is in the mail. Almost a month later (still calling in between), those checks according to Ashley may be lost. They will have to re-issue those checks, and she emailed them to re-issue the checks. I spoke with Ashley several times after that and again, she could not tell me anything definite. I spoke with Ashley today 3/11/25 and she said she will call me after she call corporate. She said that the last time as well. September 2025 will be 2 years since I lost my husband, and those checks has not been issued. I've heard of people in similar situations who give up and eventually stop calling. It's a strategy when insurance companies do not want to payback. Because we all know they hate to lose money no matter the amount. The saddest part is, when my husband and I met Cyndi Khun all those years ago, she embodied honesty and willingness to help. What I'm going through with this situation, makes me question the ethics surrounding her business.

Enjoyed yet another helpful, efficient and satisfying experience with the State Farm folks in Towson, Md. Renewal of my renters insurance was completed in less than 15 minutes with all questions answered, copies provided and piece of mind restored. This from a 77 year old senior whose computer skills are at best limited. Merry Christmas to all.
